Skyline

My forth abstract painting took a while to complete. I painted with red oil paint and it took almost a week to dry. Looks like I did end up making a collection in the abstract style.

Painting with oil I didn’t have the explosive energy I did while working with acrylic. I had to wait for drying time because I had oils and acrylic together and mixing the paint would change the look I was going for. I did mix the mediums in some part on the canvas.

Once again it’s the never ending creative process.Skyline

touch of hot pink

Abstract#2 titled, "touch of hot pink", is my recent artworks. Looks like I’ll be creating a collection of abstract paintings.

Touch of hot pink is a mini collection. 7 canvases are grouped together to form a medium size artwork. The good thing about the project is there is 7 pieces that can be composed as a series for a mini gallery show for an interior design.

I used acrylic paints and the touch of hot pink is spray paint.

Another abstract painting.

Looks like my thoughts are in abstract mode. I can’t see straight in my mind. I thought I was going to paint a still life but that didn’t go through. I wonder why this abstract vibe is taking over me. I’m going to follow my instinct and keep painting abstract with a touch of action.

Modern contemporary is my next challenge. That’s a style I haven’t experimented with.

But abstract is taking over me in the mean time.

The Garden

It took me a while but this is the painting that I created during the creative process. It turned out to be an abstract painting of the garden.

I wanted to go with my notebook work but now wasn’t the time to paint the expression that I wanted to work on.

I stepped back and took a long look and this was it.The Garden

It’s a random painting so I’m not sure if I’ll pursue the art work into a collection.

If you are interested in this painting give me an offer.

It’s a large painting. 40"x30"x.5" inches.
